Pastor Patrick Reynolds
Patrick and Vilma Reynolds were married on Oct of 1984 and have celebrated 38 years together in ministry and marriage. They have a wonderful son, Christopher Reynolds, who recently finished his call of duty in the US Air Force and married his beautiful wife, Deepa from Sri Lanka.
Patrick was born in Peoria, Illinois, and grew up in Caterpillar country in the Land of Lincoln. He entered the US Navy in 1978 and retired from a 20-year military career that ranged from Patrol boats to Destroyers and finally Submarines as a mechanical engineer and Chief petty Officer of an Auxiliary Division.
Patrick graduated from La Sierra University in 2009 with a Master of Divinity Degree. He completed five years as an IT Professional before entering full-time ministry on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
After retirement, the Lord led Patrick to start a new career in ministry in the Adventist Church after attending an Evangelistic seminar. Patrick loves the Lord Jesus Christ, evangelism, and outreach in the local community. His favorite text is Philippians 4:6,7
He loves gardening and a little gaming as well.
Vilma Reynolds was born in the Philippines and met Patrick on a blind date, and six months later, they were married and have been together for thirty-eight wonderful and challenging years as they have traveled around the world.
Vilma recently started working at the Pennsylvania Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and transferred her knowledge of Insurance from 20- plus years at Adventist Risk Management.
Pastor Reynolds believes in outreach and involvement in the community as an Adventist congregation and that it is the gospel commission of Christ to reach out to the lost children of Israel (The world), which are those who are in search of a way to fill the emptiness in their hearts that only can be filled by Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.
James says, "Faith without works is dead, so TMI (Total Member Involvement) is the key to every successfully growing church!
